Synopsis: Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker), successful author and everyone’s favorite fashion icon-next-door, is back, her famously sardonic wit intact and sharper than ever, as she continues to narrate her own story about sex, love and the fashion- obsessed single woman in New York City. Sex and the City finds Carrie, Samantha (Kim Cattrall), Charlotte (Kristin Davis), and Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) four years after the hit HBO series ended, as our favorite friends continue to juggle jobs and relationships while navigating motherhood, marriage and Manhattan real estate.

Rating: R for strong sexual content, graphic nudity and language.

Running Time: 02 hrs. 28 min.

User Rating/Grade: Excellent B

If you’re a fan of the show, too much is never enough. Much like “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull,” “Sex and the City” is a good shout-out to fans.

When the series left off, Paris-bound Carrie was rescued by Big after dealing with a grumpy Baryshnikov. Miranda moves out of Manhattan  with Steve and their son Brady.  Charlotte and Harry learned they were getting a beautiful baby girl from China; and Samantha finally gave in emotionally to Smith. It was the perfect way to end.

Now to the present…As the movie starts, four years has passed. Miranda is living with Steve (with her cute geeky bartender husband) and their son in Brooklyn. Charlotte and Harry are happily living in wedded bliss on Park Avenue with their adopted daughter, Lily. Samantha is living in Cali with Smith (the hot actor/model), taking care of his career and peeking in the cute neighbor. Carrie and her writing career is still going strong and she is moving into "real estate heaven" with Big whose name is finally revealed.  (I just love him!).

The struggles are that Miranda is juggle her family, work, and time with her friends. Charlotte is afraid of her happiness, waiting for something to go wrong and is super bummed as she watches her friends lives turn into chaos. Samantha, as always the most brutally honest of the girls, just isn’t fulfilled with her “thing” with Smith.

The happy part is Carrie and Big decide to get married — pretty much on a whim, a mutual decision made with all the romantic goings on of hammering out a business contract. The event takes on a life of its own, growing far beyond the smallish, tasteful event they imagined.

Enter Louise (a new character), hired on by Carrie as a personal assistant.

Some returning SATC characters are Carrie’s pal Stanford Blanch, Charlotte’s wedding planner Anthony Marentino and Carrie’s Vogue editor, Enid Frick.

Carrie and Miranda’s storylines get the brunt of the focus, while Samantha and particularly Charlotte are more of a supporting duo this time around.

By the end, all the SATC girl’s dramas are addressed and cosmopolitans commence. I think women and fans of the series will love this movie

Sex and the City was a good view.  All the key main ingredients are still here: Four women in New York searching for love, happiness and fashion. Over all the movie was funny, enjoyable and worth seeing.
